Market · Solar construction
B2 Intros connects solar developers with projects entering construction with the contractors who build, commission and maintain them — before a slipped schedule costs the in-service date.
EIA’s generator inventory for August 2026, last pulled October 12, 2026 — this is the market I watch.
- →492 utility-scale solar plants are under construction in the U.S., 35.1 GW in all — 7.4 GW of it in Texas
- →23 plants (1.2 GW) were newly reported under construction between the July and August inventories
- →96 plants (11.8 GW) are built but not yet in commercial operation
- →238 plants due online in 2027 (27.6 GW) have not started construction

What I see in this market that outsiders miss.
